December 19, 2021 was the perfect way to wrap up our year!
Adrienne was not looking for love and declared that the man she was going to marry was going to have to walk in her front door. That is exactly what happened, well kinda, in some way!
It pays to be surrounded by people who love you but know you even more. Adrienne’s friend, Roxie, knew just exactly what would make Adrienne’s “engine rev” so to speak. One day while she was spending time with her friends it just so happened that her future groom was outside working on a car. If you know these two you can guess which one made the first move and it was definitely in the right direction. (;
The first date turned into the last first date these two would ever have. Their shared love for fine automobiles and long rides make their time together sweeter and full of fun and laughter and that’s exactly how their wedding day was.
It was cold, but I don’t think it even bothered anyone. Adrienne knew from the start she wanted Bradford Farm for her wedding venue and the chapel was her ceremony site selection from the start. The stained glass windows and antique carved doors were what her dreams were made of.
the wedding day started with the bride and her party and even a few friends gathered in the brides suite to stay warm, get ready and enjoy the day.
First look time rolled around and we all headed to the woods for this special time. One sweet thing that the bride and groom always do is give each other a Christmas ornament on their dating anniversary and this year that anniversary is marked by their wedding day, so to keep with tradition Dustin and Adrienne chose to exchange those ornaments at their first look-we are smitten for a unique tradition! So, you know we like to make our brides and grooms our best friends, and sometimes we get personal, but it is what it is! When we are getting every one in their spot for “first look” we always quiz the groom on what he thinks the dress looks like...
”Do you think it is long sleeved or no sleeves?”
”Do you think it is lacey, sequins or plain?”
”Veil or no veil?”
well with Dustin we felt at liberty to take it a step further and ask him “Do you think it is Booty-licious or Boobie-licious?”
he answered without hesitation “BOTH!”
We are for sure all friends since we got to experience those laughs together-Adrienne and Dustin are just our kind of people!
Adrienne gifted her girls with custom cups from her own business Camille’s Boutique. For the ceremony the girls dressed in crimson velvet, with the guys wearing gray suites with matching crimson ties. Florals were white, cream and blush with luscious greenery.
Their ceremony was perfect, the bride and groom shared their own vows, we were even shedding tears! As the ceremony wrapped up everyone quickly headed up the hill to the heat inside the venue. Guests feasted on a Taco Bar provided by Southern Skillet and a custom bar menu picked out by the bride and groom. When it came to dancing it anyone needed some guidance on what steps to take they could easily follow the bride because she knew them all! We are forever lovers of the “Biker Shuffle” thanks to Adrienne! One other impression that this couple has made on us here at Bradford Farms is the addition to Alpha-Lit Huntsville. This company brought in their custom marque letters and illuminated the dance floor with “The Scott’s”, it was a perfect addition to the night and was so fitting for this couple.
The couple left for their honeymoon under a sky full of confetti and cold sparks provided by Universal Event & Production Services, it was another first for us and we loved it!!
Adrienne and Dustin-y’all are our people, but we know you know that already! We love you both so much, can we just re-do your wedding every year? Y’all brought us so much love, laughter, and fun memories with sweet Gran!
