The Story of Bradford Farm
Welcome to Bradford Farm and Venue
We are a Treasured Forest in Northwest Alabama. Our beautiful Loblolly pines are over 30 years old. Each sapling was planted by hand on over 200 acres in 1987. The farm covers over 200 acres with a variety of american beech, oak, hickory, poplar and black cherry trees. Numerous creeks, streams and waterfalls flow throughout the property year round. The land is a natural habitat for whitetail deer, cottontail rabbits, gray squirrels and other small wildlife along with various songbirds. It is also a safe haven for beaver dams that welcome endangered species such as the wood stork and flattened musk turtle. As a Treasured Forest, our commitment is "To take care of the land God loaned us and make Him proud He did."
The land was originally purchased by Thomas Jeffreys, distant relatives of the current owners in 1875. It was purchased in 2009 by Butch and Tammy Crumpton Bradford. Butch built shops, barns and fences along with roads to the creeks and waterfalls. As his legacy before passing in 2018, Butch left the farm to Heather. He gave his blessing for an event venue saying " Everything Heather touches turns to gold." Heather and staff have over 50 years of experience in event services. From photography, catering, floral design and event coordinating, Heather can make your day enjoyable and phenomenal.
The ever changing venue will offer a myriad of settings for all seasons. The only venue in North Alabama built by a professional photographer with focus on capturing your moments in the most beautiful light.
