Tucker/Lockridge
I would guess that these two Florida natives never dreamed their wedding day would be celebrated in North Alabama during January, but that is where it happened!
Courtney Tucker and Brandon Lockridge were married on January 9th,2021 in a 2 pm ceremony on the front lawn of our Open Air Chapel here at Bradford Farms. The antique doors and stained glass windows were a picture perfect backdrop for their “I do’s”.
It was cozy and romantic, but boy was it cold! Courtney suggested to all of their out of town guests traveling north for their nuptials to “buy a coat and some hand warmers” in a facebook post a few days before the wedding as the predicted temperature for the big day kept dropping.
The bride and groom chose to forego their “first look” before the ceremony but that gave us the opportunity to have one of the best first looks we have had to date! Courtney is the oldest of four gorgeous girls so we worked some magic and did a first look with daddy and his daughters along with their beautiful mother, Teresa. Scooter took his place on the edge of the tree line and when we gave him the go ahead to turn around he was greeted by all “his girls”. Courtney wore a sheer sleeved white ballgown with a sweetheart neckline adorned with lace and stones glistening in the winter light. Sisters-Torey, Hailey, and Anna Grace wore dresses in a perfect hue of blush with sequins and gathered chiffon details. There were tears, giggles, and one big group hug, Scooter Tucker you are our vision of #GirlDad goals!
After the ceremony the bride, groom, and guests gathered in the venue to feast on brunch provided by Southern Skillet Catering. A mimosa bar was complete with fresh fruit garnishes for each glass.
A sparkler exit wrapped up the day as we sent the bride and groom off with best wishes on their new life together.
Courtney + Brandon~You were a great start to the new year, thank you for letting the Bradford Farm team be a part of your special day!
