Emma Edwards and Preston Montgomery met while attending the University of North Alabama. Emma originates from Mississippi and Preston is a North Alabama boy born and raised just down the road from us here at Bradford Farm. Emma and Preston chose to get married just short of their three-year anniversary of being together and they were married here underneath our tall pine trees in our Treasured Forest ceremony spot.
Emma is a sweet, kind and soft-spoken blonde beauty and Preston is tall with dark hair, and an undeniable love for his girl, Emma. Preston and Emma exchanged vows on Friday, June 10ths surrounded by family and friends. Emma wore a fitted spaghetti strapped gown with lace, sequin and beaded detail, her bridesmaids wore blush pink chiffon dresses on different styles. Preston and his groomsmen wore gray suits with pink ties.
Ceremony florals were peach, blush, cream with pops of burgundy. The alter was decorated with our double circle arch with florals and pampas grass in natural and cream. Cellar vases with pom pass grass and dried naturals lines the aisle and a variety of oriental rugs making a path for the bride to get to her groom. After the ceremony guests dined on Parmesan chicken, brisket and sides served by Southern Skillet.
The groom has a love for baseball, so it was incorporated into his groom's cake by Suzanne White. Suzanne decorated a large strawberry cake like the Atlanta Braves baseball field and cupcakes were decorated like baseballs white Takes the Cake decorated a three-tiered cake that was perfectly fluffy and decorated deliciously with buttercream icing.
Preston and Emma-we are so blessed that you chose to say “I do” with Bradford Farm! Have a fabulous time on your honeymoon and come back to see us soon!
