Where do we even start?!?!
Sunday, May 1st was the date set for Jill Burroughs and Daniel Cunningham. From the start we knew this couple was different and planning their wedding was going to be unique with extra details paid to all most everything. It didnt take us long to figure out that the reason it was different was because we were dealing with professionals in the creative market that were wired like we were. These two are Illinois natives that had met once, both were in other relationships but after they moved to the south and met up in Huntsville it was the right time for them two to pursue a relationship. Jill is the Creative Communications Coordinator for their home church in Huntsville. Daniel is a Videographer so when they stepped on to our property they saw more than what met the eye, they saw the art and potential to create their perfect wedding day and that is exactly what they did.
Jill and Daniel created more than a perfect wedding day, they created perfect moments all throughout the day and they savored them. This couple taught us as a team to slow down and take a deep breath and love every moment of their day that only happens once! Jill and her girls arrived early and had time to relax and enjoy getting ready. Jill's dress was a showstopper-it had thin straps with a plunging neckline and fitted bodice with a little flare that made it perfect. When we are prepping for the first look we always quiz our grooms about what they think the dress will look like. Our questions are along the lines of "Is it poufy or fitted?", "Does it have bling, lace, or plain?", "Sleeves or no sleeves?". "Hair-is it up or down?". Daniel nailed all the questions and went a few steps forward and gave us more details we were not even looking for, he is a groom that knows his bride! Daniel and Jill chose to read their vows at their first look and had us all in tears.
The ceremony was in the tall pines of our Treasured Forest location with our hexagon wood arch adorned with the most gorgeous florals with terracotta roses, quicksand roses, and sahara sensation sprays. The color combo was so unique! Pompous grass and dried naturals accented the beautiful florals and greenery. Oriental rugs and cellar vases with tall pompous grass lined the ceremony aisle. Pastor Garret Howell preformed the sweetest ceremony for Jill and Daniel, he told of their relationship, their faith in the Lord and desire for Christ to be the center of their marriage. Just like everything else that day the ceremony was unique and special just like the bride and groom wanted.
After the ceremony the couple dined privately while their guests entered the reception hall and feasted on Tuscan Chicken and Brisket from Southern Skillet. The Bradford Farm decorated the tables with black linens, a large head table with a large floral arrangement that matched the ceremony florals. Bud vases galore in crystal and amber colored glass. Cakes by Homemade by Celena made the most perfect one layered cake with simple florals for the bride and groom to cut. Guests were served chocolate cake with buttercream icing and vanilla cake with icing and cream cheese filling from Costco and it was delicious! (You know us Bradford Farm peeps are cake critics!)
The bride and groom along with their guests danced the night away and exited to a confetti exit on the patio before they headed for their tropical honeymoon!
Jill and Daniel, thank you so much for choosing Bradford Farm for your wedding day! We loved getting to know you and help you create your perfect day!
