Blonde, beautiful, brilliant is the only way I know how to describe Jess. When this bride wasn’t busy studying for med school finals or working on a DIY project in the home her and her future groom were renovating she was planning the most perfect wedding day that would wrap up our 2020 in the biggest and best way!
Jess Harrison and Jake Hall married on December 12, 2020 in an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn of Bradford Farm. The threat of rain pushed us to pitch a tent for the nuptials but that didn’t damper the day one bit.
Jess thought of everything! Her vision and attention to detail was brought to life by our team here at Bradford Farm. The reception hall was draped with gorgeous champagne linens from ceiling to floor. Navy table linens with personalized menu cards tucked away in pink and burgundy napkins were the perfect addition to the florals of blush, red, burgundy, pink and champagne fitted in our geometrical glass and gold vases.
The bride and her mom worked with caterer, Southern Skillet, to create a menu that would make every guest happy. Personal servings of lasagna and chicken bacon ranch were available on the pasta bar. Build your own nachos with a southwest egg roll was an option on the South of the Boarder Bar, hot chicken and waffles with endless toppings and Pork sliders were also on the menu if guests were still looking for something to satisfy their taste buds. What completed the dinner reception perfectly was the drink menu that was personalized by the bride herself offering signature cocktails; Blackberry Lavender Smash, Whiskey Highball, and her favorite, Strawberry Lemondrop, all created and served by our favorite bartenders from All Shook Up.
Jess wore a Justin Alexander gown along with a Lazaro skirt and veil from Bella Couture in Birmingham. When it came time to dance to performances by the band “Established” the detachable skirt was gone and the biggest party in the history of Bradford Farm was enjoyed by the bride, groom, and their guests.
Jess thought of everything, have I mentioned that yet? Bridesmaids each wore a unique style dress to complement their own taste but still make Jess’ vision come to life. Jake wore a burgundy tuxedo coat with black accents while his groomsmen surrounded him in navy jackets, it was all stunning and picture perfect.
When it came time to say farewell the bride threw on her pink leather jacket an ran out under a sky of sparklers with her groom and headed to the after party with a bus full of guests provided by Rare Transportation out of Birmingham.
Jess + Jake what a way to head in to the holidays and wrap up our year at Bradford Farms!
