Ali Grace & Zane-LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!!!
Saturday, September 25th will forever go down as one of our favorite days in Bradford Farm history.
Ali Grace and Zane are high school sweethearts and their love story is typical of that of high school sweethearts-long time daters, broke-up at some point during college if I remember correctly, then came to their senses and realized they were much better together than apart.
Here are some of the favorite moments and things that stick out in our mind about Ali Grace & Zane’s wedding day……
-First look with daddy-Bear cried like a baby! Gosh he loves his girls so he got a first look with all of them at the same time.
-Years ago, Zane gifted Ali Grace with a charm on their high school prom bouquet so the same charm was on Ali Grace’s bridal bouquet.
-Guest Book for wedding attendees to sign was something unusual, it was corn hole boards made by Ali Grace’s grandaddy and uncle, they were beautiful! The craftsmanship was one of a kind, they will cherish them forever.
-The look on Robin’s face when she found out Mike had brought Bull, the dog, to have pictures made with him and Zane.
Those are just a few of the memories of the day we can share, the rest we will keep off print in case young readers see this.
*Bear, you are not as sneaky as you think you are! 😊
Ali Grace was a laid-back bride that was ready to have a fun and memorable day and she definitely surrounded herself with a bridal party that shared the same feelings. Zane is a little quieter in spirit but we pushed him to a level of closeness with our farm crew that he might regret already. Us girls on staff at Bradford Farms have designated ourselves honorary Shelton family members, so Zane might as well get use to us! Zane was calm, cool, and collected once he got to see his girl, once he saw Ali Grace he was comfortable and happy. These high school sweethearts were made for one another and we are so glad we got to be a part of their special day.
Ali Grace chose an empire waist gown with lace and beading that was light and flowy and gorgeous. She chose black bridesmaids dresses for her girls and they all wore a different style that flattered them in the most perfect way. Zane wanted to be comfortable but him and his guys were still formal looking with black suit coats, black ties, crisp white shirts and dark denim jeans. Florals were mostly white with silver dollar eucalyptus with some subtle shades of light pink mixed in. The wedding ceremony was set in the tall pines of our Treasured Forest location with reception inside the venue.
Black linens, floating candles, and a little gold here and there set the tone for the reception that was catered by Southern Skillet along with a customized bar menu that was selected by the bride and groom and served by All Shook Up. A two-tiered wedding cake was center stage and mini bundt cakes in multiple flavors were served to the guests. Groom’s table was full of some of his favorite cookies, candy, and mini pecan pies. Kylie was the ultimate hype girl of the wedding party that got the party started and kept it going all night. She led the girls in a few rounds of karaoke before she started the train that led the reception guests out to the patio as we closed the night under a sparker exit and stars.
Ali Grace and Zane…..We LOVE yall! Not sure if you knew or if we have told you yet or not but it’s true!
Let’s plan a vow renewal or anniversary party at least! We are ready for a Legg baby to be on the way too! Oh, and let us know what we need to bring to the family 4th of July BBQ, you know since we are honorary Shelton’s and all!
