Avery and Stratton
Saturday, May 1st was so fun!! Avery Morris and Stratton Miller got married here at Bradford Farms at 6pm in the evening at the end of a beautiful spring day. There were so many things that we loved about this wedding - so here goes! If you are planning a wedding, take note!
Avery had a beautifully dark stained diamond arch custom built for the ceremony. She chose white and blush for her floral colors and we accented with pampas grass to give it just the right touch of modern flare. The ceremony aisle was lined with gold geometric stands, black candles, and COLOR lanterns.
The wedding party was decked out in all black! Black is always an elegant go-to, especially for an evening wedding. Groom and groomsmen wore black tuxedos with bow ties. Bridesmaids wore beautiful off-the-shoulder chiffon dresses. So classy! Taking it an even fancier step forward-the mothers and grandmothers all wore black too! It was beautiful - they all looked stunning! Now, let’s talk about the bride’s dress, which Avery designed herself. Avery reached out to designer Olia Zavozina in Nashville and customized every detail. It was phenomenal! The dress was off the shoulder, long sheer sleeves with delicate flowers and designs, and a crystal beaded waist. There just aren't words to describe it! It was a one-of-a-kind wedding dress that was perfect in every way.
This groom - gosh he was a character, for sure! Stratton was so excited, but there was something special about him…..he was surrounded by women! Let me explain-Stratton has four sisters, that’s right, FOUR! Chatting with the sisters during photos, they were quick to tell about how Strat would take them out on dates……………how sweet is that?!?! Those sisters love him and love him big! Stratton has made sure his sisters know how a lady needs to be treated, so nothing but the best is in store for Avery and their future that is for sure.
The reception took place inside the venue where guests had dinner served by Southern Skillet. On the menu for the evening was a true southern classic meal - barbecue, smoked chicken, loaded mashed potatoes, baked beans, and our favorite - skillet corn. The bride's cake was made to please everyone. It was three large layers, each a different flavor - red velvet, chocolate, and strawberry. The couple skipped the traditional groom’s cake and chose a charcuterie board full of fruit, different meats and cheeses, and they completed this unique idea with tasty customized cookies from Jack & Lou Cookies.
Guests danced and laughed, a few tears were shed from the sisters' of the groom speeches too! Gourmet caramel and candy covered apples were treats for the guests to take home when the night came to a close.
Stratton, you are a groom that stood out for many reasons. Avery, you are one lucky girl to have a guy like him! We wish you nothing but the best and can’t wait to hear about your life as Mr. and Mrs.
